Pricks and Pragmatism
Predictable plot and as usual in this type of story you want to bunch the MC for being so bad at reading people, but the setup was a little different. I really liked that he's getting a degree and wants to be a journalist, not just the typical twink who has nothing of value to give other than himself that so populates these types of stories. I enjoyed it immensely and it was exactly what I needed after I finished the last story I read which broke my heart so badly I couldn't fall asleep that night. The ended was quite sudden and didn't have the epilogue I wanted and generally need so that frustrated me and made me beg for a sequel but it was the HEA I needed so I'm good.And the book itself is not at all responsible for my run-on sentences.
