Sarah Dallas Knitting
One word: boring. Which is unfortunate because I really liked another knitting book of hers. But this book is dullsville. The patterns are plain and ordinary full of stockinette stitch or plain, ordinary, uniform cables. The only patterns that vary are a couple of completely random blankets where she just randomly sticks lengths of knitted fabric together. The one shaped pattern is taken straight from that other book I liked but with a weird edge stitching in a clashing color. If you like really ordinary patterns that you've seen elsewhere and don't like a lot of variety in your knitting stitches, then this is the book for you. Everyone else, give it a miss.
